Learndash provides features for creating and managing quizzes in online courses. It supports multiple question types, customizable attempts, and test conditions. The system generates detailed results reports for tracking student progress.
Using PHP and JavaScript, we enhanced functionality and design per the customer’s requirements. We added a question category panel for navigation, linked questions to categories, displayed an instruction button with dropdown text, and modified the counter for missed and answered questions. Necessary text and icons were added to buttons, set up timers for each category, and redesigned the layout of questions, answers, and task text. We also changed the buttons for navigating questions, enabled inserting answers into task text, and made answers unavailable after the timer expires. These improvements fulfill the customer’s needs and engage students in testing.
Results
Our enhancements to the learning platform have helped meet the crucial needs of our client as an educational business owner. The new features and intuitive navigation have made the platform much more user-friendly. Students can now navigate more easily, receive instant feedback, and manage their time more effectively with task timers. These improvements have directly increased student engagement, as easier access to learning materials and clear instructions have made the learning process more comfortable and productive. This has resulted in improved academic achievements, which in turn has increased trust in the brand. The platform has become not only more attractive to users but has also received positive feedback, significantly strengthening our client’s brand recognition and reputation.
